Refund policy

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it - unused, in resaleable condition, with any original wrap, belly band, slipcase or tags, and in the original packaging. Please include the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at hello@buan.co.uk. We’ll reply with next steps and the return address.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Unless the item is faulty or we made an error, return postage is the customer’s responsibility. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 7 days if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can make it right. Including clear photos helps us resolve it quickly.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

We cannot accept returns for:

• Gift cards
  
• Sale items (if marked as final sale)
  
• Personalised or custom items
  
• Opened shrink-wrapped editions where seal integrity is part of condition (e.g., numbered or limited editions), unless faulty

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is approved, place a new order for the replacement item.

Pre-orders

You may cancel a pre-order any time before dispatch for a full refund. After dispatch, our standard returns policy applies.

European Union 14-day cooling-off period

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging with proof of purchase. This right is in addition to our 30-day policy above.

Refunds

We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, we’ll refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund.
